Exchange - A valuably priced offering, Exchange ensures you a fast and effective door-to-door repair process. The way it works is simple: we pick up your defective hardware unit (after you remove the cartridge and any options), and bring you an operational unit to you simultaneously. All parts and labour are included. You also benefit from remote support by both telephone and Internet.
Extended Guarantee Pack – extension of the base warranty for 1, 2 3 or 4 years, must be purchased during the first year of warranty.
Maintenance Kit – Fitted free of charge by Lexmark for printers that are covered under warranty or extended guarantee. Can include Fuser Unit, Transfer Roller, Transfer Belts, Pick-up or Feed rollers.

The specialist will also make sure your product meets Lexmark’s most stringent standards for quality and performance. This offering includes telephone and Web-based support, all parts and labour, complete onsite repair and testing. Response time is usually next business day in serviced areas, it can be adapted to your specific requests and may vary depending on the type of product.
Post-Guarantee Pack – 1 year warranty extension available (at Lexmark’s discretion) after a printer’s warranty has expired.
Renewal Guarantee Pack – 1 year renewal of an Extended Guarantee Pack. Renewable until the product become End of Service Life.
Return to Base - Return to Base offers you remote product support by both telephone and Internet, as well as a dependable return process in case of product defect. In the event of the need of a repair action, the helpdesk will instruct you to return the defective product at a Lexmark-designated location in your area. You will receive it back usually within seven business days in serviced areas. This service covers offsite repair or equipment replacement, all parts and labour, and the return shipment straight to your door.
Serial Number – A number unique to the machine which is 7 or 8 digits long and contains alphanumeric characters
What will Lexmark do to correct problems? – When you contact Lexmark for service you must follow the problem determination and resolution procedures that Lexmark specifies. An initial diagnosis of you problem can be made over the telephone.
